Leicester 3-2 Aston Villa Highlights
That was amazing! Aston Villa looked in control after two delightful goals from Jack and Gil (sorry!) but Leicester never quit and, inspired by the incredible Riyad Mahrez, they reeled Villa in, who lost their way when Tim Sherwood replaced Gil and Agbonlahor with Ayew and Gestede, leaving Grealish in a three-man midfield that was asking to be punished. The visitors looked to be coasting at the King Power Stadium after excellent strikes from Jack Grealish and Carles Gil put them two goals to the good.
But Claudio Ranieri's side scored three times in the final 18 minutes to climb to second in the table, with Ritchie De Laet, Jamie Vardy and Nathan Dyer on target.Debutant Dyer's winning effort – a brave header under pressure from Brad Guzan and Alan Hutton – left the Swansea City loanee floored, though he did pick himself up to finish the match.Leicester are now nine top-flight games unbeaten, while Tim Sherwood's Villa sit 15th, having earned just four points from their opening five matches.
Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood says he has "never felt this bad" after his side's 3-2 loss to Leicester City in which they let a two-goal lead slip.
Jack Grealish and Carles Gil gave the visitors a commanding lead but in a thrilling second half goals from Ritchie de Laet, Jamie Vardy and Nathan Dyer gave the Foxes the victory.
Villa have conceded a total of 14 goals in their last five away league games.Mahrez floats a ball over the top. Guzan comes out to claim it but Dyer is there to get his head to the ball first … and it trickles its way in to the net. Dyer is down hurt and receiving treatment but it’s well worth it for a late winner.
